Art in the Garden!

Sac Open Studios has been a fun event. On the first day, people walked through the gardens, friends stopped by and other friends chipped in to keep things organized and greet visitors.

Yesterday started ominous with thunder and a bit of rain – even though every weather app we viewed said, “it’s sunny and beautiful!”. The clouds moved on, heavy rain happened elsewhere if it happened at all, and the day was magnificent.

We capped the day with a massive after hours arroz con pollo dinner (kind of a paella) for 12, thanks to a larger pan provided by DeWayne (he’s a chef). The new pan could probably feed even more people, if we limited ourselves to one serving (but what fun would that be?).

We’ve replaced the sold pieces, updated labels and carried the cat back in the house (he wasn’t too happy about that).

Please stop by if you’re in the area!
