We’ve been thinking of participating in this event for a while, and this year finally decided to pull the trigger and exhibit our art in the garden. After years of plein air painting, we’ve got a lot of paintings – over 150 from loose art to matted to framed and ready to hang.
The show will run Saturday September 15 and Sunday September 16 from 10:00 to 5:00. We’ll have plenty of art on display, places to sit and relax and hopefully lots of people stopping by to say, “hello”. Since it’s our first time doing Sac Open Studios, we really don’t know what to expect, but it looks like we’ll have two beautiful days to hang out in the garden with friends surrounded by art and the garden.
We’ll be giving demonstrations, too. Not sure if it will be only watercolor and acrylic or if we’ll throw in some photography tips too. I suppose it will all depend on who comes and what they’re interested in.
