Now the work begins
Once the concrete is poured into the forms, the time-sensitive work of leveling, shaping and texturing it begins. Excess concrete must be removed from critical areas like drains, the edges need to be troweled to give them curved instead of jagged edges, the pour needs to be leveled, surfaces need to be broom finished so they’re non-slip. All this has to happen before the concrete turns to stone.
