Ready to flush
The orange thing on this pop-up irrigation head allows the system to be flushed before installing the spray heads. All dirt, mud or other debris in the lines will flow out through a hole in the orange device threaded onto the top of the head. A finger pull on the flush cap allows the installer to pull up the pop-up after flushing and screw on the appropriate irrigation nozzle.
