Perennial morning glory flowers

Perennial morning glory flowers (Ipomoea indica)

Quite a show

We’ve had these vines for several years now, and they’ve been more or less well behaved. They twine whimsically around shovels leaned against the wall or twine artistically up guide wires. Since the soil surrounding them is dry, heavy clay they have remained within eight feet of where they were planted. This is actually a good thing, since they are now exactly where we want them and have died off in their original location.
