Dicliptera suberecta
Cuphea llavera
Lemon grass
Morning glory
Musella lasiocarpa
On December 29th, these plants were hit hard by frost. Since some of them were new trials, it wasn’t clear if some, all or none would return. The verdict? Don’t try Leonotis in Sacramento – it can’t take the frost.
The other plants in doubt – bat face cuphea, lemon grass, dicliptera – all recovered. The ipomoea and banana were not so much in doubt; they’d already survived several winters.
