A bit of art at the state fair

It’s plein aire at the fair day again, and again tomorrow. As usual, it was over 100°F (40° C) today, so we painted in the shade of an orchard, where we stayed cool despite a constant rain of ants falling from the trees.

Here’s what we painted…

Arararara 2511

Ararara – I submitted this one for the gallery. Maybe it will even sell. It’s 30″ x 40″, something bigger than normal. The rays of light in the image are real rays of light coming through a tree, not painted onto the image.

By the way, the sloth bites!

Annette’s entry into the gallery. It’s a relatively small piece, easy to fit on a wall.

This image is of the Farm at the fair. The building on the right is full of bugs. You can’t go in until the floor is dry, though.
