Forms almost ready
We’ll add a few stakes to keep the forms in place, then pour the concrete so that it comes about to the bottoms of the beams, encasing one galvanized fitting per footing. This deck is only 12″ above grade, so we can’t use a more typical post and beam arrangement. With so little height, it’s not going to be that critical anyway, and we’re really just keeping the beams off the ground.
