Dicliptera suberecta

Dicliptera suberecta

Killed totally or killed to ground?

This is a new plant, something loved by hummingbirds. Technically a perennial, its frost tolerance was unknown, and will remain so until it either grows back in spring or dries up and blows away.

It wasn’t as water conserving as I’d have liked, either. Normally something with fuzzy gray leaves has them to conserve moisture, but this plant really appreciated regular water.
