Lemon grass (Cymbopogon citrinus)

Cymbopogon citrinus frost

This looks dead to me

This plant is from Thailand. So, frost tolerance wasn’t really on the menu. It’s possible that the plant can re-grow from the base, if it wasn’t frozen solid.

This is the same plant used as a spice in Asian cooking, so it’s good to have around. Next time, I’ll put it in a pot – although it grows much better in the ground. Unless there’s any frost.
