Beans on corn

Pole beans good. Bush beans, not so much.

For unknown reasons, many of our beans ended up being the bush variety. This means that they don’t twine up the corn stalks like these pole beans. They also get more shade since they never rise high enough to bask in full sun. Still, they do squeeze out the occasional bean or two.
